Anime is typically distributed in.MKV (Matroska) format. It isn’t very compatible with many devices, though. Fortunately, suppose you’re watching anime online on your computer. In that case, you won’t have any problems (and the best video players for playing MKVs are developed by Microsoft), but if you’re watching on your game console or streaming device (such as Chromecast), there is a good chance that you can’t play MKV files.

Check the TV schedule to find out when the new episode of your favorite anime is airing. You can download the new anime episode from torrent sites like u1337x.org. The torrent file of the episode usually becomes available soon after the anime has aired in Japan. Like all other video or picture torrents, anime torrents are enormous files that contain multiple “pieces” (i.e., images) that must be downloaded and reassembled to make a complete copy of the file you want. The best website for downloading anime is HorribleSubs. They only support 480p, though. Their process works like this: go to their site and look up the show you want to watch. Once there, it will list all the episodes of that show. Click on the one you want to watch, and it will give you several links. The link labeled “720p” is generally the best-looking quality, but be warned that it can sometimes take 30 minutes or more to download the first episode.
- Binge Watch previous episodes:
It is a good idea to catch up on the previous episodes if you can get to watch the new ones as soon as they are released instead of having to wait. Binge-watching the previous episodes can also help you prepare for the next episode as it may contain spoilers. You can either download the entire season of episodes or stream them or stream it for free. There are many different sites where you can watch anime for free, but most sites have low-quality videos and annoying advertisements. If you plan on watching much anime, it is probably best to invest in a premium account so that the ads go away and you can support the anime industry by paying for the content.
